Recently, Intel unveiled the new brand, Intel® Atom™ processor armed with the new family of low-power consuming microprocessors, designed specifically for a new category of laptops and gadgets which will be know for their low cost, portability and mobility.

 

With personal computing increasingly going mobile and the computer industry rapidly developing, Intel Atom processors is perfectly suited to meet these new market segments enlightening the brightening future for highly portable computational devices.

 

About Intel atom processors:

• A new range of power-efficient devices with excellent performance enabled by all new hafnium-infused 45nm high-k silicon technology.
• Increased energy efficiency in smaller and more compact designs with a thermal design power specification ranging from subwatt to 2.5 watts for mobile devices.
• Extend battery life in select devices with an incredibly low idle power as low as 30 mW allowing the device to stay powered on while also conserving energy.

The Intel Atom processor is based on an entirely new micro-architecture designed specifically for small devices and low power, while maintaining the Intel Core 2 Duo instruction set compatibility consumers are accustomed to when using a standard PC and the Internet. The design also includes support for multiple threads for better performance and increased system responsiveness.

 

With the launch of the new microprocessors Intel is targeting two distinct and new segments in both mature and emerging markets. These devices will typically cost between $250-$350 (Rs10, 000 - Rs14, 000) depending on the configuration, Intel Corp, added. These new market segments represent a significant new opportunity to grow the overall market for Intel silicon using the Intel Atom processor.

 I personally feel that, Apart from the previous family of Intel processors know for powerful computation like Core, Core 2, and Xeon, This small wonder, the Intel Atom, will unleash new innovations across the industry and also would break through the affordability barrier.

This is my first post to my blog area. I am just starting with a short blog, as i am a novice at blogging. 

 

Michael Hyatt's guide to starting a blog of our own, helped me in starting posts for my blog. As we all know, blogging basically, is a writing skill that requires lot of smart working. Till today, i have been wondering how to start writing a blog like the one's posted by my friends like Sundar. After realizing that an experience has only the power to make us stronger i decided to get into the world of blogging.

 

I will try maintaining my blog as an Informational, an Instructional, a Contrasting, an Inspirational, Critique post and as a personal blog once a while. In short to tell as ALL IN ONE BLOG. For which, i need help from various readers and friend of my skydrive space, to give suggestion over my blog to help me improve my posts better the next time i post one into my blog area.
